Back to where it began
Hi, my name is Mick Carter I am the founder of A Short Locksmith.
I started off working for my father who was the blacksmith at the Tower of London.
I then joined the Royal Navy and had a carrier in the Fleet Air Arm.
After leaving the Navy I trained as a locksmith and built "A Short Locksmith" as a brand
with a very good reputation in and around Maidstone.
The business has a catalogue of customers who have trusted us for their locksmithing needs including:
Leeds Castle, Brook Security, estate agents, care homes and Maidstone Borough Council.
I became so busy I took on a trainee (Mikey Martin) and his skills and enthusiasm has lifted the company to new heights.
Mikey has enhanced our reputation and I only get good reports about his manner and work quality along with his attitude & skill.
As a founder owner I am glad Mikey has taken on the batten and been successful at running the company with me in the background.
